About me

My name is Jingning Ao (敖敬宁 | 오경영). I am an Assistant Professor of Business Administration at Graves School of Business and Management at Morgan State University in Baltimore Maryland since August 2023. 

In April 2023, I graduated with my 2nd Ph.D. in Strategy and Entrepreneurship from the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business at University of Pittsburgh (Pitt). Before joining Pitt, I completed my 1st Ph.D. in Human Performance at Middle Tennessee State University, and the dual-master's degrees in Innovation Management at Sino-Danish Center with  Aalborg University (Denmark) and the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. Prior to academia, I worked at Grundfos and United Nations Development Programme. 

Currently, I serve as the social media manager (Twitter) of the Strategic Management Division at Academy of Management, and the social media ambassador of Academy of Management Perspectives & Journal of Small Business and Enterprise Development.
